I’m working on an über-romantic Valentine’s Mantle that includes subtly themed décor that I’ll be able to use around the house year round. These letters are part of it and they were so easy to make.
What You’ll Need:
- Paper Mache L-O-V-E letters (from Hobby Lobby)
- Light Pink Paint (I used Martha’s Stewart’s Acrylic Paint in Pink Carnation and it’s the perfect vintage-y shade)
- Lace Trim (mine is vintage lace passed down to me from my MIL)
- Mod Podge
- Foam Brushes
Start by painting your letters with two coats of the pink paint. When dry, cut you lace into strips to encase parts of each letter as desired. Brush both sides of lace with Mod Podge and apply to letters. Paint another coat of Mod Podge over the lace to ensure it adheres well and allow to dry.
I also created a free little printable of a Bokeh Love picture which you can download here in PDF form: Bokeh Love Printable

So cute! I have a bunch of lace from projects years ago I never thought I’d use but this is so cute and modern! I’ll have to try something like it!
Thanks Eva! So super easy too!
These are just simply precious! Love the color and touch of lace! Thanks for sharing !
