If you’ve been following me recently, you know we finally moved out of Oklahoma to just outside of St. Louis. We found an amazing home to rent for the next few years and I’m so in love with it. It was built in the 1800s and is an official historic home of the area. The home was converted into apartments at one time but was changed back into one home in recent years. The current owners and prior owner have done such an amazing job renovating and updating it while keeping with the original style of the home that I just have to share it with you!
So without further ado, my very favorite room of the house: The Kitchen. It deserves capitals because I find it that awesome.
Here’s a “looking-in” shot of the whole room as you are coming in from the dining room. It has grand 11 foot ceilings, exposed brick and an amazing stamped copper ceiling.

Wow, beautiful kitchen with wonderful character! I really love the fireplace in the summer kitchen. I think I’d decorate it even though the room is only used for utilitarian purposes! At least it would make you happy every time you walk in to get the mop, lol.
