My step-brother and his girlfriend just welcomed my new newest niece, sweet little Zoey Elise. I finally did something crafty during the move transition and went to Hobby Lobby to get the stuff to make this for her. You can see my original tutorial for the Tutu Wreath here, but I wanted this one to be shimmery so I did just two things differently.
1) I used what’s called “Shiny” Tulle. It’s subtle and pretty, but if you want even more shimmer you can buy “Glitter” Tulle.
2) For the letters of her name I bought fun wooden letters and painted them with one coat of PLAID FolkArt Metallic Acrylic Paint in Gunmetal Gray. Then I applied two coats of PLAID FolkArt Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint in Silver (I love glitter so this is awesome stuff!!). The glitter paint is pretty sheer though so you definitely need a base color underneath.
