Girls’ Fabric Scrap Tutu Easter Basket (made from a Dollar Store bucket)

If you missed the Boys version of these upcycled Dollar Store Easter baskets, you can find it here.
What You’ll Need:
E6000 Glue (or other glue that adheres to plastic)
Ruffled Elastic for handle embellishment (I used this Riley Blake ruffled elastic)
Fabric Scraps
Mod Podge and foam brush
The boys version of this bucket contains more detailed pictures but this was so simple, I’m just giving you the basic directions.
First, make a fabric scrap tutu (click link for a tutorial) made to fit the circumference of your bucket or basket. (You can make  it whatever length you’d like.  I made mine about 2 inches longer than the bucket).
Then, Glue tutu to bucket along the top rim with the E6000 glue.
Next, using the same glue, glue a strip of the ruffle elastic to the top of the bucket’s handle.
For interior, apply a coat of Mod Podge with foam brush.  Cover with fabric scraps and then do another coat of Mod Podge over the top of the fabric.
I also added a cute little Kanzashi Flower for added detail.
And you’re done!
