I love black and white with pops of bright colors. The tulle was an afterthought when I ran out of ribbon. Sure, it gives it a bit of an 80s vibe but I kind of love the 80s.
Ribbon or Sash, for hanging the wreath
Cut your tulle into long strips. I buy mine by the yard, fold is up and cut as below.

Thank you, Jane! Trying to knock out some Spring decor before the new baby comes…I don’t do well when I am sleep deprived!
Love the bright colors! I have to ask where u got the bench and mirror…….interested in a similar set-up for my foyer. Love the blog!
Hey Abby! Thanks! They are actually a part of the “Shanghai” bedroom set I bought in college from Pier 1. Probably back in early 2005.
Dawn,
I love the wreath! I don’t think the tulle gives the wreath an eighties feel at all. It does however accent the flowers beautifully.
Found you from your comment on That’s What Che Said.

The ruffled tulle under the flowers makes such a cool impact! Love the colors and how well they coordinate with the fabric. SO pretty! C’mon spring!!!
