It’s done!!!! It’s more of a mini-makeover but since we’ll be moving again sometime this year I didn’t want to paint the walls or anything major. We also plan to buy new bedroom furniture when we move since I’ve had this set since college. Except for the platform bed, which my handy hubby made! The master bedroom has always never really been decorated. It where all the leftovers go. It was high time for a little redo to make it a more relaxing, romantic space and I only spent around $200 by re-purposing things around the house. Now for the fun part: the before and after pics and then I’ll get into the makeover details!

I love the pintuck duvet cover! The grey with yellow accents is such a pretty color combo…a friend of mine did that for her wedding.

The yellow makes it so bright and cheerful – it is masculine and feminine at the same time! FANTASTIC!
It looks great! Grey and yellow are one of my favorite color combos. I LOVE the pillows especially. You did a fabulous job! I’d love for you to stop by my blog and follow me if you’d like… I didn’t see a “follow” button here???

The pops of yellow are so fun!! And that fireplace looks cozy!
Great job! I have the same duvet cover! I have blues and browns. I am looking to add Raspberry to my room for pops of color but just haven’t done it yet! You just inspired me to get going on that.
Found you from Tatertots and Jello! Come check out my master bedroom too! http://terriestreasuresfromabove.blogspot.com/2011/10/reveal-my-master-bedroom.html
