D.I.Y. Rock Vase

This is an easy, quick D.I.Y. project that yields a really cool end result.  I took an old glass vase and turned it into a unique rock vase using things I already had around the house.

What You’ll Need:
A glass vase
Fine Sandpaper
A bag of decorative stones (usually found in the silk flower aisle)
Hot Glue Gun
All-purpose Glue Sticks

First, rough up your glass with some fine sand paper.  This will help the glue adhere better.  Heat up your glue gun while you clean and dry the vase.

Then simply glue the stones on.  I’d place a piece to make sure it fit and then use a generous amount of glue to glue to the vase.  I put the glue on the vase, then pressed each stone in.  It was really easier than I’d imagined getting all the rocks to work well to cover the space.
It took A LOT of glue stick though so be prepared with plenty of them.  That’s it.  An ugly of vase is now a chic centerpiece.
