Bleach Baseball Caps

If you haven’t tried bleach projects yet, they are so fun and easy.  These caps take just a few hands-on minutes to make!

You’ll only need a few things:

Infant/Toddler Ball Cap
Clorox Bleach Pen
Spray Bottle filled with 50% water and 50% bleach
Vinyl Stick-On Letters/Numbers

I tried several different colored caps and the black really pulls the coolest color.  The pink pulled white and that was okay but the navy caps pulled a light pink that I didn’t care for.

For this hat, I simply used Vinyl Stick-On Letters and Numbers and put on my son’s initial and birth year.  Then spray the bleach solution on and let sit about 5 minutes or so.  Then wash immediately.  Let air dry.  This is really important…the hat I dried in the dryer shrank up and the bill of the hat looked funny then!

For this hat, I drew the hearts and dots on with the bleach pen and then sprayed a bit with the bleach solution too.  Follow same directions from there as with the first hat.
For this hat, I drew on the star with the bleach pen and then let big drops of the bleach solution run down the hat (using the spray bottle) so it would look like a shooting star.
Easy as that!
