My grandmother loves browns and oranges so I used them as my main colors to make her this wreath for Christmas. (Don’t worry, she won’t see this. She doesn’t use computers!) Since I was making it anyway, I figured I may as well share the tutorial with you. This could easily be a no-sew project if you opt to use ribbon instead of making the sash-style hanger from scratch as in this tute and glue the felt strips instead of sewing for the Tangerine Flower.
Tangerine Flower (Make 1):
I cut 2.5″ wide strips of felt and then folded them in half lengthwise and sewed with a 1/4″ seam. Then clip all along. Or use a rotary cutter…much faster and it doesn’t hurt your hand like using scissors does after a while. The below picture shows this better than words can. I forgot to take a picture of the second step but you’re just going to glue the strips in a circular motion onto a 3″ circle of felt. It will take about 3-4 layers to fill the flower. Clip strips at the end of each layer and start a new row. I choose to do a button center for the pop of turquoise.

Love the color scheme and the stylish simple end result.
This is super pretty! I love the colors
